View RecordingAs enterprises look to automate and digitalize their manufacturing, logistics, and other industrial facilities, the need for a high-performance, reliable, and secure wireless network becomes an essential part of their connectivity infrastructure. While Wi-Fi has been the default wireless network technology deployed in facilities and does an adequate job for simple use cases, it is not up to the task in supporting industry 4.0 mobile applications, such as automated forklifts and AMRs. This educational session presented by Tessco and Nokia will explore what private LTE and 5G networking is and its advantages over Wi-Fi and public cellular for industrial environments, including a network TCO comparison.
